Zoho Books alerts aren't posting
A payment came in or an invoice changed in Zoho Books or Zoho Invoice, but no alert shows up in the channel you picked.
Fix it
Section titled “Fix it”- Give it ten minutes. Zoho doesn’t tell Freesbe about changes as they happen, so Freesbe checks every ten minutes, and overdue invoices once an hour. Under the app in Workspace settings → Integrations → Finance, the alert’s Last alert says when it last posted.
- Check the connection. The app should say Connected. If it says Needs reconnecting, someone removed Freesbe under Connected Apps in Zoho, or the person who connected it left the organization: click Reconnect.
- Check it’s the right app. Zoho Books and Zoho Invoice are separate apps with their own alerts. An alert under Zoho Invoice doesn’t post what happens in Zoho Books.
- Check the alert is on, and takes that change. An alert marked Off doesn’t post. Open Edit from its ⋯ menu and check Alerts to post: a customer paying part of an invoice needs Payments received, since Invoices paid in full waits for the whole amount.
- Check the smallest amount. Invoices and payments for less than it are left out.
- Drafts don’t post. Invoices sent waits until the invoice is sent to the customer.
- Was it before the alert? Alerts start with what happens after you add the first one. Older invoices and payments aren’t posted, and an invoice that was overdue before isn’t either.
- Check who connected it. Freesbe sees only what the connecting person can see in Zoho.
- Check the channel. Alerts don’t post into an archived channel. Use Send a test alert: if it says the channel is archived or gone, edit the alert and pick another.
