Connect Pipedrive to Freesbe

How-toFor adminsReviewed Guides: Pipedrive, Workspace settings

Connect Pipedrive and your sales team sees new deals, deals moving stage, wins, losses and new leads in a channel as they happen, gets a preview under every Pipedrive link, finds deals and people with /pipedrive and adds conversations to a person’s notes. You need to be a Freesbe owner or admin, and for alerts, an admin in your Pipedrive company.

  1. Open Workspace settings → Integrations & apps → Integrations → CRM and find Pipedrive, under Salesforce.
  2. Click Connect Pipedrive. Sign in to Pipedrive if it asks, then click Allow and install.
  3. You’re back in Freesbe with Connected next to Pipedrive, and your company’s name.

Connect as a Pipedrive admin. Freesbe asks Pipedrive to tell it about deals and leads, and Pipedrive only lets admins set that up. If you connect as someone else, previews, /pipedrive and Log to Pipedrive work, but Freesbe shows Alerts are off until an admin clicks Reconnect.

Freesbe sees what the person who connected can see in Pipedrive. A workspace connects one Pipedrive company.

  1. Under Pipedrive alerts, click Add alert.
  2. Pick Post to channel, for example #sales.
  3. Tick the Alerts to post: New deals, Deals moving stage, Deals won, Deals lost, New leads.
  4. Set a Smallest deal to post if you only want the big ones. New leads always post.
  5. Click Add alert to save it, then choose ⋯ → Send a test alert to see a sample card.

Alerts arrive within seconds of the change in Pipedrive. Add more alerts for different channels: deals over $50,000 to #leadership, new leads to #sales.

Show a preview under Pipedrive links is on to start with. Everyone in the conversation sees a preview, guests included, so turn it off in Integrations → CRM if your CRM details shouldn’t be shared that way.

  • Type /pipedrive Contoso to find deals, people and organizations. Only you see the answer.
  • Hover over a message, click ⋯ → Log to Pipedrive, type the person’s email address and click Add note. The note goes on the person in Pipedrive with a link back to the message.

See Pipedrive alerts aren’t posting.

  • Pipedrive shows Needs reconnecting. Someone uninstalled Freesbe in Pipedrive. Click Reconnect.
  • No preview under a link. Previews only show for deals, people and organizations in the connected company, up to three links per message, and only while previews are on.
  • Log to Pipedrive finds several people. Pick the right one and click Add note again.

Click Disconnect in Integrations → CRM. Freesbe removes what it set up in Pipedrive, and your alerts are kept for when you connect again. To remove Freesbe from Pipedrive too, open Tools and apps → Marketplace apps in Pipedrive and uninstall it.
