Integrations

PagerDuty incidents, where your whole team can see them.

Freesbe's PagerDuty integration posts each incident from the services or teams you pick into a channel, as one card with its severity, service, who it's assigned to, priority and urgency. Acknowledgements, escalations, reassignments and notes change the same card, and it turns green when the incident is resolved. With an API key, anyone in the channel can acknowledge or resolve it from the card, and PagerDuty records it as them.

One card per incident, kept current

PagerDuty pages whoever is on call. Everyone else sees the incident in the channel, and its card follows it to the end.

  • Severity from the priority (P1 to P5), or the urgency when there's none
  • The service, who it's assigned to, and the latest note or escalation
  • Turns green with how long it lasted, and a reply for people following it

Acknowledge and resolve without leaving the chat

Give Freesbe an API key, and Acknowledge and Resolve buttons appear on every open card. PagerDuty records the action as the person who pressed it, by their email.

A live problems board and reports

One card at the top of the channel lists every open incident, worst first. Daily or weekly reports count incidents by severity, the typical time to resolve and the busiest services.

Questions

Does Freesbe replace PagerDuty's paging?
No. PagerDuty still pages whoever is on call. Freesbe shows the rest of the team what's going on, and lets the people on call act from the chat.
Does it work with the EU service region?
Yes. Enter your PagerDuty address as it is, like https://northwind.eu.pagerduty.com, and Freesbe uses PagerDuty's EU API.
